My Next of Kin Is….? Fast contact with your family in an emergency
THIS REALLY COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE! & IT’S FREE!!
It may only be a simple card, but it could save your life. It’s a card with a message to the police and medics. When that emergency strikes, and you are unconscious, your phone is locked or smashed, and your driving license or bank card only tells the police who you are, who is going to come to your aid? Who will know your medical history, your allergies?
Sometimes the most powerful ideas in life are the simplest. The wheel… the paper clip and now The My Next of Kin card.
The My Next of Kin card holds all the emergency information needed to speed up the process of contacting your family FAST! You simply write the contact details of your next of kin on the back of the card, so you have a loved one by your side quickly. This loved one will be able to answer the medics’ questions and potentially save your life. But the new updated card can now alert doctors of your existing medical conditions, blood type or allergies – saving crucial time – time that could make all the difference between life or death.
Nut Allergies, Heart Conditions, Diabetes, Epilepsy, any type of medical condition or allergy you can simply write on the back of the card and alert medical staff….. It’s so simple!
It is an idea so simple, yet so brilliant, which is why leading celebrities are offering their endorsement:
“It’s a wonderful idea!” Joanna Lumley OBE
“This card will make a big difference!” Eamonn Holmes OBE
“What an absolutely brilliant idea!” Alastair Stewart OBE
“I love the My Next of Kin Card” Gary Lineker OBE
“It’s a brilliant – brilliant idea!” Dame Esther Rantzen
My Next of Kin was founded in 1998 out a real-life emergency situation. Lee Hemington experienced a time when there was no such card, no way on informing him of his mother in a coma in hospital, and no way of being informed that he should be by her side. His mother Faye was given just 48 hours to live, so every moment he was not with her was precious time lost.
It took 5 hours to find Lee. He was able to provide information that helped to save Faye’s life. Faye is still with us today but it could have been a very different story.
It was from this moment that Lee Hemington realised there was a need to speed up the notification process, to help the police and the medics get our loved ones close, fast.
If you believe you carry enough information with you – think again.
- Your driving licence only gives your name and address
- Your phone will be locked by a pin only you know or may have been smashed in an accident
- Your credit and debit cards only give your name
The My Next of Kin card is that card you will be glad you had, even though you never thought you would need it. With 23.4 million attendees at Accident and Emergency in England alone in 2016 – 2017 – the chances of each of us needing some medical intervention is high. Do you believe with a one in three chance of being rushed to hospital that the odds are in your favour?
In many of these cases appearing at the door of A & E there is no information about the patient and no means of contacting a family member. Treatment is slow, as all the precautions must be taken so as not to make the condition of the patient worse. They see the importance of being safe, steady, and not sorry.
The My Next of Kin Card could provide all the information needed by the professionals to speed up this care and potentially save your life.
This important lifesaver card has been recognised by The Association of Chief Police Officers. This could actually save the emergency service thousands of pounds in resources, while officers spend time trying to locate family members, we’ve heard it countless times on the news, ‘the police are trying to locate the next of kin’
